Hopefully testing later today. We reinforced it all around with packing tape and made a greenland paddle out of (2) old oars. Only thing left is getting it secured to top of car.
Kayak Update
The plywood frame is complete. Planning to add temporary plastic wrap skin today and test out in nearby lake tomorrow.

3 facts about hummingbirds I did not know: a. they can hover, fly up, down, sideways and upside down b. it’s estimated that every square yard of the US is inspected once a year by a hummingbird c. their colors are produced by refraction (bending) of light, not by pigment.

Route Werks Handlebar Bag - Justin Sirotin
Here are some nice improvements on the standard bicycle handlebar bag. I appreciate how well articulated all the information is about this project. It’s got $90,710 on Kickstarter, on a $40,000 goal (23 days left to pledge). The $119 bag is expected to ship in January 2021.

Fire Table
Our friend, Hayden Schramm (designer/fabricator) applied finishing touches (adding adj. feet and hose part) yesterday and we fired-up the fire table last night - what a treat. It kicks off more heat than expected - we kept it dialed down as evening temps were in the 70s. Looking fwd to fall.
